Over the past four years leaders in Kansas have been committed to serving the community and improving its health and safety through the capacity building of local nonprofits that provide public services. To date, the establishment of the Nonprofit Chamber of Service has improved relations between over 200 local nonprofits and funders, has built the capacity of local nonprofits to work, learn and plan together, and has facilitated the development of best practices for nonprofits as they serve local citizens.
